The yeast flavor was overwhelming. You would think it was the expensive part of the meal. The chicken was over-cooked, especially near the edges. The marinara sauce was WAY too salty In addition, this is hard to describe, and may sound funny, but it was too "tomatoey". Of course, marinara is going to taste like tomatoes, but when you add spices like basil, and sugar to reduce acidity , it begins to taste like sauce I had very high hopes to replace my old favorite, but I was sorely disappointed.
Small restaurant, a little bit crowded and noisy but worth every delicious bite! This was by far the best Italian cuisine I have had in the 8 years I have been living in the area. Authentic, fresh, and the personal touch of the owner makes it a great dining experience. Don't waste your time going to Boston Worse thing he could do is expand. This is a terrible restaurant.
Go someplace else! Actually, this is my wife's and my favorite Italian restaurant in New Hampshire. It is a tiny jewel buried in a strip mall in Nashua. The food and service are wonderful. We consider it our "special" place to go. I have been to every restaurant in the north end and you need to expect the same. They are hard working and very knowledgeable. Lately I have found that it is getting more popular and is even busier. If you make a reservation you are OK. It's Nashua's very own little Italy. Best Italian food I've had yet in this area If you like Olive Garden or Bertucci's don't go here.
This is real Italian food, always fresh and delicious.
Best Italian in SNH - Cucina Toscana Ristorante Italiano
Numero Uno!! We visited the North End for dinner this summer and this was equal if not better. We are always welcomed by the staff and the owner and they never forget what we either eat or drink. The atmosphere is very authentic with the music and the white tablecloths. There can be a wait with no reservations, but it is worth it. The food is unbelievable and the portions will fill you up with some to take home.
I suggest the cannolis and the stuffed mushrooms, but everything is out of this world.
It is one of Nashua's hidden gems. The food is just awesome. Everything is always fresh and the service is fantastic. Had appetizer never told price but how much could one crab cake be?? What kind of restaurant were we eating at? Way over the top, with no presentation.
